Are you planning to attend Former WSEU President Bob McLinn's retirement party this Saturday, June 25th at 1:00pm at Jud-Sons, 416 E. Main St., Waupun?
If so, Bob would greatly appreciate it if you would help Senate District 18 Democratic Candidate, Jess King become the next state senator in the 18th senate district. If you can give one or two hours of your time then when you are threw helping you could relax by enjoying a free beer, soda or water on Bob & Marcia McLinn.
Former WSEU President McLinn feels this is a perfect opportunity to have activists outside of the 18th senate district provide an hour or two to the recall movement. The retirement celebration is only one block from the staging area of the canvass activity.
The 18th senate district canvass will take place on:
Date: Saturday, June 25th
Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm
Staging Area: Waupun Labor Temple, 23 Carrington St.
We would appreciate any amount of time that someone can volunteer----whether it is one hour or the entire four hours.
Please share this information with everyone in your address book that you think will be attending Bob and Marcia's retirement celebration may be willing to volunteer.
The Labor Temple will be staffed the entire time (from 11:00am – 3:00pm), so you can show up whenever it is convenient for you.
