It is now legal to bring a loaded gun onto the Assembly Floor. You will however, be arrested for bringing a glass of beer, after all, you might pour the beer onto a lawmakers head. Forget shooting the lawmaker, we just cannot tolerate the free flowing of beer. Stupid is what stupid is...

"Thompson says recalls tear the people of the state apart and create a degree of uncertainty that holds back economic development. " He is DEAD WRONG, Scott Walker and the Wisconsin GOP is what tears the people of this state apart. Place the blame where it belongs Mr. Thompson!

Assembly Minority leader, Rep. Peter Barca says he is not considering a run to challenge Scott Walker in a recall election. He does state however, that he would like to see U.S. Senator Herb Kohl challenge Scott Walker.

A bad deal? Despite warnings, Racine OK’d raises for public workers
AFSCME members offer to pony up to the City of Racine, but the city refused the offer. Now the city will make huge cuts to services and are blaming the increased salaries of the members AFSCME Local 67.
Why public employees seem to be the blame today by all levels of government leaves us at SEPAC flabbergasted.

Is it really so bad? The pension was earned after decades of faithful service and the government agency or school district gets a highly qualified employee to fill the void of the retired person, but do not have to pay for benefits or any additional pension contributions. Also, in some cases, the amount of money earned is capped so that the retiree does not exceed social security caps. Again, is it really that bad?
