Report: Wisconsin ranks high in school aid cuts - JSOnline

We guess the proof is in the pudding, so to speak. Governor Scott Walker's belief, "dummy them down" and then I will be the smartest in all the land.

You are the "smartest in all the land", Dummy Down Governor Walker.

You will get all the credit for destroying Wisconsin's public education system, you should be very proud of your accomplishment to bring Wisconsin's children to your low level of education.

Some nonunion government workers get pay increases to offset pension contributions - JSOnline

While these local level of government may feel they are doing the "right thing" their action is another form of union busting. It is their statement to non-represented employees, do not worry about what the represented employees get, we will give it to you as well.

So, to the management teams, you are engaged in union busting and you know it.

To non-represented employees, enjoy, it is organized labor that brings you this temporary reprieve. Imagine what could happen if all workers were represented by organized labor...

Protests permeate Labor Day - JSOnline

Scott Walker has left the Great State of Wisconsin feeling angry and frustrated. Labor Day parades should be about celebrating the accomplishments of Labor, but here in Wisconsin Walker and the Republican Majority have and continue to assault the middle-class and lower-income workers.

Shame on these elected officials for creating such hate and divisiveness.

Labor DID NOT lose in Wisconsin. What was once "NEGOTIATED" under professional terms and with expectations of professional "honoring" (a written agreement), Governor Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Republican Majority blatantly STOLE from the public employees. Not even a "heads-up" acknowledgement from the Administration or the Republicans that after everyone celebrated a New Year they were going to implement the largest theft in history and leave tens of thousands of victims in their wake.

It is UNACCEPTABLE for any Union member to succumb to this atrocity and even remotely think that they can adjust to this thievery. The thefts of wages and benefits WILL CONTINUE, believe us. ALL public employees MUST REJOIN THE FIGHT if we are to ever have the possibility of regaining what has been stolen from us.

The Walker Administration already has called for another 5% of health insurance costs to be passed onto the public employees in January of 2012. This 5% increase in cost will come in the form of higher deductibles, co-pays and reduced benefit coverage. THIS WILL NOT END unless WE FIGHT BACK!

Are you going to allow your "take-home" pay to continue to diminish or are you going to REJOIN THE FIGHT and FIGHT BACK?

Weakened but undaunted, public unions seek to survive

As Bill Brockmiller, Chapter 10 Chair, AFSCME Local 2748 says, belonging to the Union is like having an insurance policy. Paying Union Dues is much cheaper than paying for an attorney.
