Citizen Action of Wisconsin Looking for Support in Milwaukee

On Tuesday, Oct 11, the Milwaukee Common Council will vote on an Ordiance that would require that 25% of our public contracts go to people of color, women or small businesses located in the city of Milwaukee. This means hundreds of thousands of dollars of increased opportunities for Milwaukee residents. Join us at 11:30 at City Hall (Corner of Water and Wells downtown) to fight for this historic legislation as the first step towards passing a comprehensive Milwaukee Jobs Act that will ensure equal opportunity and economic security for all Milwaukee residents.
