Commitment to winning apparent in massive membership Tele-Town Hall

Monday night 2,000 members of AFSCME Council 24 took part in a teleconference call to outline the fight against the new comp plan and the campaign to recall Scott Walker. Members asked questions of Council Executive Director Marty Beil and Assistant Director Jana Weaver about a range of issues. The questions dealt with what can be done to defend our workplace rights and comparisons of Ohio’s repeal effort and Wisconsin’s Walker recall.

Scores of members committed to getting co-workers to recommit to the fight for our rights, as well as taking part in the recall campaign. If you want to be part of future information sharing sessions you need to STAND UP, SPEAK AND SIGN UP TO RECOMMIT TO YOUR UNION! Click on “Join the Fight” to learn how to be part of the union.
