One final reminder – We Are Wisconsin and the AFL-CIO are coordinating a major rally at the capitol on Saturday, 5/14 at 2:30 p.m. Buses are running from various areas of the state – see the SEPAC website for details (www.wseu-sepac.org). We still believe the Joint Finance Committee will begin taking executive action on portions of the budget proposal during the week of 5/16. We need a huge showing to make sure they know we have not gone away, we are still watching, and that most of this slashing and burning is unacceptable to the vast majority of Wisconsin citizens.
