Saturday, May 14th "We Are Wisconsin" Rally

We Are Wisconsin and the AFL-CIO are coordinating a major rally at the capitol on Saturday, May 14th at 2:30 p.m.

The focus is again to send a clear message to the governor and legislators that stripping our rights and destroying Wisconsin’s values in the state budget process is not acceptable.

In all likelihood, the Joint Finance Committee will begin taking executive action on portions of the budget proposal during the week of May 16th. We need to make sure they know we have not gone away, and that this underhanded, irresponsible, wrecking-ball behavior and attitude is unacceptable to the vast majority of Wisconsin citizens.

Now that the weather is warmer, and there is no snow in the forecast, it should be a great day to bring the family to Madison and spend an afternoon fighting for and protecting what is yours, as well as the State of Wisconsin’s.
