Walker’s proposal to break off UW-Madison dead | Wausau Daily Herald | wausaudailyherald.com

It was a bad idea from the beginning, but Scott Walker kept pushing at it because it is what he said he wanted to happen. However, a majority of the UW Systems leadership pushed back and Walker was unable to push forward any longer.
