For months now, there has been no shortage of Democratic names floating around as potential contenders to take on Gov. Scott Walker in the expected recall election. Two people had said they were definitely going to run: state Sen. Tim Cullen of Janesville and former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk.
But last week Cullen took himself out of the race, citing a fundraising hurdle and the mudslinging that is sure to occur between the candidates as reasons.
