The Journal Sentinel Editorial Board has wrongly concluded that Gov. Scott Walker should not be recalled because recall elections should be, in the board's opinion, limited to "criminal wrongdoing." Though Act 10, says the board, was an "overreach of political power," Wisconsin's state employees (not the wealthy nor our corporate tax-avoiders) have been living too high on the hog for too long and something had to be done. Besides, if we recall this governor, what's to prevent the recalling of the new one? What the board dismisses is Wisconsin's Progressive tradition.
