Waukesha Finds 7500 Overlooked Votes for Prosser While Prosser Hires Attorneys that Represented George W. Bush in the 2000 Florida Recount

Justice David Prosser hired two attorneys that represented then, presidential candidate George W. Bush in the 2000 Florida recount when Vice President Al Gore suddenly found himself not being the winner of the state of Florida.

Prosser hires two attorneys from the suspicious Florida recount and Waukesha County Clerk's office suddenly produces more than 7,500 votes they did not count for David Prosser on election night.

Something is awfully suspcious in and smelly in Waukesha County and the David Prosser campaign.

Here is the text of the David Prosser release regarding his assembled legal team:

Team Represents Best in State and National Legal Talent

(April 7, 2011—Delafield, WI) The Prosser for Supreme Court campaign is transitioning from campaigning to the expected legal efforts by assembling an exceptional recount team.

“Over the last 36 hours, we have put together an outstanding legal team, headed by Madison-based Attorney Jim R. Troupis to prepare for a statewide recount. The team will also include Milwaukee-based Attorney Dan Kelly and Ben Ginsberg Washington D.C.,” said Justice David Prosser. “We are preparing for a recount, contingent on the results of the statewide canvas currently underway.”

Troupis, of Troupis Law Office is a longtime trusted friend of the Justice, and has a wealth of experience in election law and is well-respected in the legal community.

Joining the team, Kelly of Reinhardt Boerner and Van Deuren is a strong litigator, and has tried three cases before the Supreme Court.

Rounding out the legal team, will be Ben Ginsbewirg, of Patton Boggs, a nationally-recognized expert on election law who has been involved in a number of high-profile cases.

“Justice Prosser is one of the most respected members of our judiciary, and I am honored to represent and work with the fine group of attorneys we’ve assembled in a very short time period,” said Troupis. “Pending the results of the canvas, the legal team will be full-prepared to take all appropriate actions on behalf of Justice Prosser.”
