It is being rumored that the Joint Committe on Finance will hold five public hearings outside the State Capitol in the near future on the biennial budget.
It appears that the Republican dominated JFC has decided to hold the public budget hearings in areas that do not have large media markets.
The rumored locations are;
Arcadia, WI (Trempealeau County - Pop. 2412)
Hayward, WI (Sawyer County - Pop. 2129)
Livingston, WI (Grant County - Pop. 597)
Ripon, WI (Fond du Lac County - Pop. 6828)
West Allis, WI (Milwaukee County - Pop. 61254)
Exact locations and times have not yet been learned. Again, the above locations are rumored to be the chosen locations, but have not officially been communicated by the JFC.
