I am responding to the article published in the March 16, 2011 issue of The Chronotype entitled “Rivard gives views on budget”. Everyone understands two people can view the same set of circumstances and come away with different opinions based on their unique perspectives. But, there is also the reality of truth and untruth. If the quotes attributed to Rep. Roger Rivard are accurate, he reveals himself as at best an uninformed parrot repeating other peoplesʼ lies or at worst, to be a liar himself.
