Transportation from Wausau to Stevens Point on Monday, 03/28/2011

Brothers and Sisters:

If you are not aware, the Reverend Jesse Jackson is planning on speaking in a rally in Stevens Point on Monday March 28, 2011 at 12 noon. Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) is planning on bringing up their bus to Marathon County Parks at 10 a.m. to pick people up for this and transport to Stevens Point on Monday. Save gas and ride the bus if you are able.

    the Rev. Jesse Jackson is also scheduled to be in Oshkosh at this time, so my husband and I have been trying to find out if he will be in Stevens Point. The event organizers have not responded to us, but yesterday my niece who attends UWSP said a friend e-mailed her and told her that Jesse Jackson would not be coming because of family obligations. So, does anyone know if the Rev. Jesse Jackson will be in Oshkosh and/or Stevens Point on Monday?

    Although he's increasingly irrelevant, Jesse Jackson should mind his own business and concentrate on fixing Chicago's problems. Thankfully, Wisconsin is headed in the right direction with Gov. Walker.
