DOJ Files Appeal to Judge Sumi's TRO

The Department of Justice of the State of Wisconsin has filed an appeal of Judge Sumi's Temporary Restraining Order to the publishing of Wisconsin Act 10, to the 4th District Court of Appeals.

The DOJ motion seeks to stay the TRO and seek permission to appeal Judge Sumi's decision or to petition directly to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The latter request is in anticipation of bringing this matter to the Wisconsin Supreme Court while the court is presently four conservatives to three liberals.

April 5th's election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court could possibly flip the court to four liberals and three conservatives.
