Less Fortunate Employees Instructed To Stay Home Without Pay Because Governor Scott Walker Will be Touring the Facility

You are invited to greet Governor Scott Walker as he speaks at and tours the facility of Opportunities, Inc of Jefferson County. His tour should not have any obstacles as it is rumored that the "challenged" employees who normally work at Opportunities, Inc. have been instructed to stay home, without pay.

Help us greet Governor Scott Walker as he arrives at Opportunities, Inc. in Fort Atkinson, WI.

WALKER In Fort Atkinson
Thursday, July 28, 2011 4:15pm to 7pm
Opportunities Inc.
200 E. Cramer St., Fort Atkinson, WI

With the information about Diversified Personnel Services (part of OIC) this place is nothing more than a sweat shop. There shouldn’t be any hesitation about demonstrating. For what it’s worth the employees at OIC-DPS have been told that they are not to report to work on the day that Walker is there and Oh by the way, you won’t be paid for the day. Please distribute to your leadership and others so that we can protest Sweat Shop Scotty.

  1. The event doesn't start until after work - 5:30. People will be working before then.

  2. That was the point. Sources are reporting that the employees have been told to stay home, without pay even though the event starts outside of a normal work day.

  3. It is "Rumored"... nice try. You people lost, get over it.
