Oshkosh, WI – At a 11:30 a.m. cook-out and 1:00 p.m. canvass kick-off on Saturday, July 20, local Oshkosh residents will gather at the Winnebago Central Labor Council Hall, 2211 Oregon Street, to learn how their fellow community members have been impacted by recent changes in Wisconsin policy. Over brats and hotdogs community members will discuss the local impact of Scott Walker's budget and recently enacted proposals before knocking on doors in support of Jessica King in the upcoming recall election.
The Wisconsin Truth Tour began last Saturday in Green Bay and has stopped in Merrill and Portage. Over the next week and a half the Wisconsin Truth Tour will stop in Kenosha, Milwaukee, La Crosse and Hudson.
