Labor super PAC raises $3.7 million - POLITICO.com Print View

AFL-CIO’s super PAC pulled in $3.7 million late last year — money the labor group will spend in state and federal races in 2012. The major labor group has said it plans to kick start its super PAC this cycle to help the AFL-CIO gain independence from the Democratic Party and counter the millions of dollars that conservative groups are expected to pour into the election. … The super PAC also got donations of $500,000 each from the labor groups American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and Unite Here Tip State and Local Fund.
