After weeks of solid protests at the capitol and numerous polls that show that both in Wisconsin and nation-wide the public does not support Governor Walker and the Republicans, they are still trying desperately to hold on. Americans for Prosperity, created and financed in large part by the billionaire Koch brothers, has been running numerous negative ads to attempt to influence public support. Governor Walker has now launched a state wide bus tour (paid for by the Koch brothers) to gain support for his budget.
Wherever Governor Walker goes, we need to be there, to greet him and make sure our voices aren't silenced by the billionaire Koch brothers. Medicaid, Senior Care, Long Term Care and more are all slated for huge cuts right along with collective bargaining.
Starting today you can greet Governor Walker and/or his Representatives at any of these locations:

You have this a little wrong. SCOTT WALKER is not going to be on this bus tour. And this is funded by a non profit organization
ReplyDeleteIf protesting you are not allowed inside these businesses. Any unlawful protesters will be fined or arrested. They are rightfully paying to be at these businesses just like anyone else.
These are the people for walker they have a right to gather and discuss there view just liek all the non walker people do.
Yeah, well union supporters kicked backside in Rhinelander where 200 of us showed up. About 20 or so of them gave a half hearted showing of Walker signs next to the bus for 10 minutes, then fled to an inside room for a training of some sort. Guesstimates place their total attendance at no more than 40 and that's being generous. The pattern for these events is for them to book a room in a non-public place where they can't be bothered by anybody who disagrees. You know, like what they did during the health care summer of rage? Honestly, it was pathetic. What makes it even funnier is that a pretty complete transcript of what took place at Wolffs restaurant has been released to the outside world. The restaurant owner tried to cosy up to both sides but it won't work. They didn't look like they were having as much fun as we were.
